By means of present petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "Pleased to direct the respondent no. 2 (Divisional Railway Manager, North Central Railway Jhansi) to release the family pension in favour of petitioner, after the death of her son who died during his service." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the in the above regard the petitioner has already approached the authority concerned by moving representation dated 15.10.2024, which is still pending consideration. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the competent authority is respondent no. 2, who can be directed to be disposed of pending representation of the petitioner in a time bound period. In view of aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2 to look into and consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2024 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
