Raghunandan Rao) The present Writ Petition has been filed, by the petitioner claiming that her husband had been illegally detained by the 5th respondent and that his whereabouts were not known. 2. The 4th respondent, had been directed to take steps to trace the alleged detenue as respondent No.5, who was also present during the last date of hearing, had stated that she had not detained the detenue. 3. Today, when the case was called, the detenue, identified by the petitioner who is also present in Court, has appeared before us. 4. The detenue upon being asked by this Court, stated that he was frightened and had went into the interiors of the forest to a village called ‘Papanna Dora’ and had come back after some time. 5. He has also stated that he was not ill-treated by the official respondents after he had appeared before the 5th respondent on 26.03.2025. 6. In view of the statement of the detenue, nothing further survives in this Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
