He has been denied the pension for not satisfying the condition of minimum required length of service. Petitioner seeks counting of his daily wage service towards qualifying service for the purpose of pension and pensionary benefits. The claim has been made on the strength of decision rendered by Division Bench of this Court in LPA No.196 of 2022 titled as Roop Lal vs. State of H.P. & Ors, decided on 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 11.10.2023. SLP (C) No.1007/2024 instituted by the State against the aforesaid decision has been dismissed by the Hon’ble Apex Court on 18.03.2025. 2. In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of pension in light of decision rendered in Roop Lal case (supra) within a period of six weeks from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
