The present petition has been filed with the following prayers: "[I] Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties concerned to accept the resignation of the petitioner from the post of Manager of the aforesaid trust and the said trust may be taken in his possession with immediate effect, in the interest of justice. [II] Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties to absorb the trust property to the State Government, in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the fact that the trust in question is a charitable trust, no writ can be issued in respect of the prayer made. 4. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail his remedies elsewhere, if so advised. 5. The writ petition is disposed off in the above terms.
