CAS(C)] No. 58 of 2024 and also the proceeding in MC[CONT. CAS(C)] No. 66 of 2025 whereby, these proceedings have been initiated by applicant respectively. However, in one proceeding seeking for impleadment in the aforesaid miscellaneous proceeding whereby application has been filed. Whereas, the learned senior counsel for the applicant, Mr. S. Biswajit is present before this Court physically in the proceeding of MC[CONT. CAS(C)] No. 58 of 2024 with the proceeding of CONT. CAS(C) No. 8 of 2024 which is indicated in the office notice and is also submitting that the application may be closed, but is required to pass a speaking order. Whereas, in this matter, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1, Mr. Rendy Maibam is present before this Court physically and is submitting that the present application may be closed. Equally, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, Tomclist is present before this Court physically and is submitting that the present application may be closed. Biswajit in this matter along with the contempt proceeding are concerned, it is deemed appropriate that the order dated 24.07.2025 issued by the Commissioner (Home), Government of Manipur in the name of Governor which order contains 6 paragraphs; whereas paragraph No. 5 reveals as thus – “5. Now, therefore, in compliance of the Hon’ble High Court’s order dated 27-02-2023 passed in Writ Appeal No. 66 of 2019, the Governor of Manipur is pleased to re-fix pension as on 01-01-1996 (ROP 1999) and as on 01-01-2006 (ROP 2010) for extending the pensionary benefits in favour of Shri N.K. Nair, Retd. Director Police Wireless, Manipur.” However, keeping in view of the submission made by the aforesaid earned senior counsel in these matters are concerned, it is deemed appropriate that these applications being MC[CONT. CAS(C)] No. 58 of 2024 and MC[CONT. CAS(C)] No. 66 of 2025 filed by the applicant in the contempt case are hereby closed for the presently. However, keeping in view of the submission made by the aforesaid learned senior counsel, it is deemed appropriate that liberty be granted as sought for in accordance with law.
