This writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is filed by the petitioner-plaintiff seeking for a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the application filed by the plaintiff under Section 151 of CPC for police protection, in O.S.No.1149/2024. 2. In view of the said prayer sought by the petitioner, issuance of notice to respondent is not necessary. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the writ papers. 4. Plaintiff has filed the suit for relief of permanent injunction. Along with the suit, the plaintiff has also filed an application under Order 39 Rules 1 and 2 of CPC seeking for an order of temporary injunction. The Trial - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:5405 WP No. 791 of 2025 Court, by order dated 10.09.2024 has granted interim order directing both the parties to maintain status-quo in respect of the suit schedule property, till the next date of hearing. Thereafter, plaintiff filed an application under Section 151 of CPC on 12.11.2024 seeking police protection. Till date, the Trial Court has not passed any order on the said application. Hence, the present petition is filed. 5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the application filed by the plaintiff under Section 151 of CPC, in accordance with law, on or before 20.02.2025. 6.
