By way this interlocutory application filed under Order XXII Rule 3 of the CPC, the applicant is seeking substitution of the legal heir of the petitioner, i.e., Nang Gautomi Siring in WP(C) No.3313/2014. It appears that during the pendency of the writ petition, the applicant’s father, i.e, the petitioner expired and since the right to sue survives with the applicant, the present substitution application has been filed. In view of the fact that the applicant is required to be substituted as legal heir of the petitioner, for effective adjudication of the writ proceeding, this court allows the interlocutory application by providing that the applicant, i.e., Nang Gautomi Siring to be substituted in place of the petitioner, i.e., Late Sawkula Siring in WP(C) No.3313/2014 Let an amended cause title be submitted before the Registry Page No.# 3/3 for doing the needful.
