By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following relief: “Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the whole compensation (quid pro-quo) along with interest to the petitioners of their land Khet no. 1042 A area 0.316 hectare and Khatauni no. is 257, Village-Maholiya, Pargana-Billari, Tehsil-Khatima, District U.S. Nagar.” 3. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners be permitted to make representation to the District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar, who may be directed to consider the same within some specified time frame. 4. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioners to make fresh representation to the District Magistrate, Udham Singh Nagar within two weeks from today. 5. If petitioners make such representation within the stipulated time, District Magistrate shall take decision thereupon as per law, within four months thereafter. 6.
