This anticipatory bail application under Sections 482 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Sections 316(2), 318(4) and 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on the pretext of marriage the petitioner had established physical relationship with the victim. It is alleged that the victim had given money to the petitioner in cash from March 2023 to June 2023 amounting to Rs. 14,50,000/- by taking it from her father for business purposes. After their marriage was fixed the petitioner demanded Rs. 30,00,000/- and one SUV 700 car but later on the petitioner refused to marry. 4. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 5. Considering the aforesaid allegation and considering the fact that the persons are major and there is consensus in the

relationship which had continued from 2023, this Court finds it a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands allowed.
The petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before the learned court below within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on the event of his surrender or arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned J.M. 1st Class at Ranchi, in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No.103 of 2025, subject to the condition that one of the bailers should be a close relative of the petitioner and other should be a resident of State of Jharkhand, having sufficient landed property in his/her name or in the name of his/her ancestors in which he/she is having share and to that effect, he/she has to file an affidavit before the Trial Court indicating his/her share in the property. 7. The petitioner should appear before the Trial Court and file bail bond with an undertaking that he will appear before the Trial Court during trial as and when directed. Further, he will not linger the trial and will cooperate the Court in framing of charge which shall be framed by the Trial Court within two months from the date of his appearance. (ANANDA SEN, J.)
