The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the Respondent no.3 to depute a officer to find out authenticity of the two Maragadhalingam idols and other idols and ornaments and to find out the missing articles of the Arulmighu Thirunokkia Alagiyantha Swamy Temple, Thirupachetty Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District, consequently to direct the Respondents no.1 to 5 take action on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2019. 2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 3rd respondent made a submission that no complaint has been received so far either from the temple authorities or from any person. That apart, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR & CE) Department authorities can verify the allegations set out in the writ petition and if any idol has stolen, necessary complaints are to be filed. Thus, the Executive Officer is directed to look into the allegations raised by the petitioner and the 5th respondent is directed to file a complaint, if necessary. 4.
