The petitioner's case is that his father, Maddar Khan, was granted a saw mill license, bearing No. 24/83. His father died in 1996. One of four brothers of the petitioner, namely, Abdul Hamid alias Lallu, got license transferred in his name in the year 1997 and name of the petitioner was not included therein. Though the petitioner's counsel is not aware as to when Abdul Hamid alias Lallu died, now the license is in the name of Smt. Mujibun, wife of late Abdul Hamid alias Lallu and two others since 2004. Now, in 2025, the petitioner has filed this petition alleging that some inquiry was got conducted but action thereon remains pending. This is hardly a matter for issuance any substantive direction. If any such proceedings are pending before any Officer, the same shall be concluded. Apart from it, we see no reason to issue any other direction. 3. The writ petition is disposed of.
