Biswas and Mr. A. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. S. C. Keyal, learned Standing Counsel, DRI. 2. Both these applications are filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect of NDPS Case No.444/2024, pending in the Court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge No.5, Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati. 3. According to the complaint, 262 gm of Heroine was recovered from the possession of the petitioners. The materials available in the record shows that when the seized articles were taken to the Magistrate, it turned out to be 243.67 gm. So the Narcotic Drug was recovered from the possession of the petitioners was of intermediate quantity. 4. Both the petitioners were arrested on the same day and they have completed more than 11 months in Judicial Custody. Page No.# 3/3 5. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both the sides, since intermediate quantity of Narcotic drug was recovered and since the petitioners have spent more than 11 months in Judicial Custody, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners do not deserve to be detained in Custody for any further period of time. 6. Therefore the bail applications of the petitioners Ms. Julia Haokip @ Julia Tinneithem Haokip and Smt. Wisongthonliu is allowed. 7. The petitioners Ms. Julia Haokip @ Julia Tinneithem Haokip and Smt. Wisongthonliu shall be released on bail of Rs.50,000/- each with a local surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge No.5, Kamrup(Metro), Guwahati. 8. Both the petitioners shall appear before the Trial Court regularly on each and every date of hearing, if they filed to do so without showing satisfactory reasons, the Trial Court shall have the liberty to procure their attendance. 9.
