Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:23583 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4145 of 2025 Petitioner :- Priti Devi Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Secy. Bal Vikas Awam Pustahar Deptt. Lko. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Subodh Kumar Pandey,Suresh Chandra Tiwari Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, submits that for the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri in question, one Savita Devi wife of Sandeep Kumar, a candidate falling below the poverty line with an annual income of Rs. 42,000/-, was selected after being given priority. The petitioner, Priti Devi, possesses an income certificate reflecting her annual income of Rs. 48,000/-, and thus she does not belong to BPL category. Furthermore, the petitioner’s income certificate was issued more than six months prior to the date of the advertisement. For these reasons, the petitioner was not selected. The written instructions submitted by the learned Standing Counsel are taken on record. On due consideration to the government orders dated 21.03.2023 and 14.09.2015 and the fact that the petitioner is not living below the poverty line and her income certificate is not in consonance with the advertisement, the writ petition is found to be without merit and is accordingly dismissed.
