Das, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. J. Lotha, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. C. Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1; and Mr. R.R. Kaushik, learned standing counsel for the N.C. Hills, respondent Nos. 2 & 3. 2. In this petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuing direction to the respondent authorities to complete the selection process for two numbers of vacant post of Principal in Higher Secondary Schools (provincialized) in the district of Dima Hasao, as per advertisement dated 27.11.2024, within a stipulated time. 3. Mr. Kaushik, learned standing counsel for the N.C. Hills, has produced one written instruction, dated 06.09.2025, issued by the Inspector of Schools, Dima Hasao before this court today and submits that the process could not be taken to its logical conclusion on account of pendency of one writ petition, being W.P. (C) No. 3923/2025, filed by one Smti Nilima Mazumder and on 20.08.2025, the said writ petition has been withdrawn and now, the respondent authorities will complete the selection process. 4. Since, the respondent authorities have decided to complete the selection process, nothing left to be decided in this petition and therefore, this court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to complete the entire selection process within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. 5. The petitioner shall obtain a certified copy of this order and place the Page No.# 3/3 same before the respondent Nos. 2 & 3 within a period of 1 (one) week from today. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
