Also heard Mr. K. K. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect of Sessions Case Special Case No.258/2023. 3. Mr. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has objected to this bail application. 4. The petitioner has been shown as an absconder in the Charge-Sheet, therefore the Trial Court issued summons to him. The petitioner apprehends that since he has been shown as an absconder in the Charge-Sheet, he may be remanded to custody. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wants to contest the case before the Trial Court. 6. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel for both the sides. 7. Since, the petitioner is interested in facing trial, he deserves to be given adequate opportunity to that effect. 8. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. Page No.# 3/3 9. Therefore, the petitioner, Sukur Ali shall appear before the Trial Court in respect of Sessions Special Case No.258/2023, within next 10(ten) days from today. 10. On his appearance, the petitioner, Sukur Ali shall be released on bail of Rs.20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 11.
