Heard Mr. Aman Tamboli, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Praveen Das, learned Deputy Advocate General, appearing for the State/respondents No.1 and 5 to 10 as well as Mr. Ramakant Mishra, learned Deputy Solicitor General appearing for respondents No.2 to 4. 2. By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following relief(s):- “10.1 That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to call for the entire records from the respondents for its kind perusal. 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the respondents to grant quarry permit to the petitioner by deciding his application as expeditiously as possible. 10.3 That Hon'ble Court be further pleased to pass such other order or orders, direction or directions, writ or writs, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit under the facts and circumstances of the case may also be issued in favour of the petitioner against the respondents.” 3 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed this writ petition with a limited prayer that his application for grant of quarry permit has not yet been decided till date therefore, it may be directed to be decided, as the same has been filed way back on 13.06.2024, upon which, learned State counsel submits that the authorities will decide the application of the petitioner within some stipulated time in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for parties and perused the documents available with the writ petition. 5. Be that as it may, the respondent authorities/the Collector, Bilaspur is directed to consider the application preferred by the petitioner and decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, as the said application is pending since 13.06.2024. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the learned Collector, Bilaspur shall decide the application preferred by the petitioner, in accordance with law. 6.
