By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondents to consider case of the petitioner and allow her application dated 3.11.2024 for the post of Anganbadi Karyakatri at center Anegi-II, Block Rupaideeh, district Gonda. Learned standing counsel on the basis of written instructions which are taken on record, submits that as per residence certificate of the petitioner, she is a resident of Tandwa Gulam Gram Sabha whereas the vacant post of Anganwadi Karyakatri is in Anegi-II village. She is not a resident of Anegi-II Gram Sabha. According to G.O. dated 21.3.2023, selection of Anganwadi Karyakatri shall be made from the permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha. As the petitioner is a resident of other Gram Sabha, she has not been selected for the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri. In view of the above and keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is not a resident of Gram Sabha Anegi-II and therefore, she does not fulfil the eligibility criteria for being considered for appointment on the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri in view of the government order dated 21.3.2023, the petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
