No one appeared on behalf of the petitioner or either of the opposite parties. In view thereof, petition is dismissed so far as it relates to opposite party No.2. It is also seen that the writ petition has been filed in the year 2002 with a prayer for a direction to the opposite parties to permit petitioner's admission in M.A. (Previous) Hindi on the basis of Bachelor of Arts Programme Certificate issued to him by the opposite party No.2. We are now in the year 2025 and for all practical aspects, the petition appears to have been rendered infructuous by efflux of time. In view thereof, the petition is dismissed as infructuous granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate application seeking recall of this order, in case cause of action still survives.
