PURKAYASTHA ORDER 07.02.2025 Heard Mr. S.M. Chakraborty, learned Advocate General assisted by Mr. D. Sarma, learned counsel appearing for the appellant-State. Also heard Mr. S. Bhattacharjee, learned counsel appearing for the respondent. It is submitted by both the learned counsel appearing for the parties that ex- post facto referral has been given in favour of the respondent for treatment in the Institute of Neuroscience, Kolkata. In view of this, the Police Department also has communicated to the concerned department to sanction the amount raised in the MR bills. Learned Advocate General has submitted that the process has been completed and it will be re-imbursed very soon. In view of this, we do not want to proceed with the present writ appeal as submitted by Mr. Chakraborty, learned Advocate General appearing for the appellant-State. It is expected that the re-imbursement of the medical bills shall be made within a period of 4(four) weeks. The instant writ appeal stands disposed in the above terms.
