By the previous order dated 04.03.2025, learned State Counsel was directed to file status/progress report within 10 days. 6. Today, on instruction, it is submitted by learned State Counsel that after investigation, final report has already been submitted by the police on 17.03.2025 against the petitioner, therefore, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and it becomes infructuous. 7. The said fact is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner. 8. In view of the statement made by learned State Counsel, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner may avail the remedy available to him under Law by challenging the final report by filing a protest petition. 9. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
