GP FOR HOME THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 10042 of 2020 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 2 and3 in not taking any action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.05.2020 and not even registering an FIR or causing any enquiries in terms of the Judgment of the Honourable Apex Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari Vs. State of U.P, as being illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondent to take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 15.05.2020 and to register FIR, and to pass.…” 2. Heard Sri M. Chalapathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 2 & 3 are not taking any action on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 15.05.2020. He would also submit that appropriate direction may be given to the police. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions would submit that based on the complaint dated 15.05.2020 made by the petitioner, a crime has been registered against the accused persons and the then Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Peddapuram took up investigation. After completion of investigation, the investigating officer referred the case as False. 5. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
