None appears for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 3. By the instant writ petition, petitioner is praying for the following relief: “i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order dated 15.09.2018 passed by respondent no. 2. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 not to interfere in the peaceful working of the Society i.e. Sri Ganga Sabha (Regd.), Haridwar.” 4. This writ petition was filed in the Registry on 06.12.2018 and the Registry pointed out certain defects but no one appeared to remove the defects on 07.12.2018. Thereafter, on several occasions matter was listed before the Registrar (Judicial) but no attempt was made to remove the defects. Office report dated 27.02.2025 indicates that defects have not been removed. On the previous date i.e. on 28.02.2025, none appeared for the petitioner. Even today, none appears for the petitioner. It appears that petitioner is not interested to pursue this petition, as no attempt was made to remove the defects. 5. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
