Hon'ble Mr. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. JUDGMENT : (per Sri Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J.) Petitioner was engaged as Standing Counsel for State of Uttar Pradesh, between 2002 till 2020. According to her, her Fee Bills have not been cleared for certain period of time. 2. Mr. I.D. Paliwal, learned Sanding Counsel for the State of U.P. was asked to get instructions in the matter. Today, on instructions, he has produced in Court two letters issued by Special Secretary, Law Department, Government of U.P. dated 04.03.2021 and 06.05.2024, which are taken on record. Based on those letters, Mr. Paliwal submits that certain objections were 1 2025:UHC:109-DB pointed out to the petitioner in her bills, however, she has not removed those objections; consequently, petitioner’s bill could not be cleared. 3. Ms. Bina Pande, petitioner, in person, however, disputes the said submission and submits that the letters, referred to by learned Standing Counsel for the State of U.P., have not been received by her. 4. Learned Standing Counsel for the Uttar Pradesh was asked to indicate the mode of service; however, he could not make any statement regarding service. Mr. I.D. Paliwal, learned Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. assures the Court to supply copy of aforesaid two letters to Ms. Bina Pande, within 72 hours. 5. In such view of the matter, we dispose of the writ petition by providing that petitioner will remove the defects, as pointed out in the aforesaid two letters issued by State of Uttar Pradesh and re-submit the bills, within three weeks. Upon such re-submission of bills, the Competent Authority in the State of Uttar Pradesh shall examine the issue and pass necessary 2 2025:UHC:109-DB order, within four weeks’ from the date of receipt of bills submitted by petitioner. __________________ G.
