The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.205 of 2022 arising out of Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 35 of 2018, corresponding to G.R. No.485 of 2018, for the offences registered under Sections 395 and 412 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge- V, Dumka. On 28.04.2018, the informant was waylaid by 10 to 12 accused persons near Dumka- Godda main road. The accused persons looted Rs.12,000/- and other valuable from the informant. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 18.01.2021. It was further submitted that petitioner was neither put on T.I. Parade nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that petitioner was identified by the informant for the first time in the dock after 4 ½ years from the date of occurrence. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Dumka, in connection with S.T.
