This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, in respect of Guwahati GRPS Case No. 65/2025. 3. While a train stopped at Guwahati Railway Station, 2 numbers of USA made 7.65 MM pistols and in total 40 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the possession of the present petitioner. 4. Mr. Choudhury has submitted that those articles were in an abandoned condition and all other passengers got down from the train, but the petitioner alone was sitting in the train. He was held guilty of carrying those articles. 5. Mr. Porasor has submitted that similar cases of gang of persons carrying pistols and ammunitions are pending in various courts of Assam. According to Mr. Porasor this is the fourth case where the petitioner was arrested. 6. Mr. Porasor has submitted that police investigation is going on and at this stage this bail application should not be considered. 7. This Court is of the opinion that the submissions made by Mr. Porasor has force in it. Therefore, the bail application of Jamir Hussain stands dismissed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
