It is argued that during the pendency of the present appeal, parties have arrived at a settlement as is also evident from the report of Mediation & Conciliation Centre dated 21.08.2025. A copy of the said report is handed over across the Bar and is taken on record. 3. In view of the report dated 21.08.2025, present appeal is disposed off on the terms and conditions as recorded in the settlement entered into in between the parties. 4. The parties shall be bound by the settlement. 5. Penalty proceedings are also liable to be dropped in view of the settlement arrived at in between the parties.
