The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is seeking a direction for a speedy trial in S.C. No.240 of 2024 on the file of the Court of the II Additional District & Sessions Judge at Guntur. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is aged 68 years and is pursuing the case for an expeditious disposal. It is submitted that the accused are charged with the offence under Section 302 of IPC and that on account of the death of the petitioner's son, he was mentally distressed and that his health is not cooperating. 4. The learned Assistant public prosecutor submits that the matter is posted to 30.04.2025 for the framing of charges. 5. Considering the stage of the case, the criminal petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to take appropriate steps. 6.
