The present contempt case has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding against the opposite party no.2 for non-compliance of the order dated 22nd January, 2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.6861 of 2023. 2. Mr. Kishore Kr. Singh, learned S.C.-V, appearing on behalf of the opposite parties, refers to the minutes of meeting (Agenda No.3) of the District Compassionate Committee, Bokaro held on 2nd March, 2024 under the chairmanship of the opposite party no.2 and submits that after due consideration, the District Compassionate Committee, Bokaro has rejected the claim of the petitioner’s daughter Smt. Jyoti Kumari for compassionate appointment. It is, thus, submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied. 3. Considering the said submission, there is no need to further proceed in the present matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no.2 is hereby dropped. 4. The present contempt case stands disposed of. 5. The petitioner is, however, liberty to take appropriate recourse against the decision taken vide minutes of meeting (Agenda No.3) dated 2nd March, 2024 of the District Compassionate Committee, Bokaro, as permissible under law.
