This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely, Budha Roy @ Budheswar Roy has prayed for grant of pre-arrest bail in respect of Golokganj P.S. Case No. 71/2025. 3. From the house of the petitioner 2.13 kilograms of ganja was recovered. The petitioner is an active disciple of Lord Shiva. He has connection with a Shiva temple. 4. Considering the quantity of narcotic drugs recovered from the house of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. 5. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 6. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Golokganj P.S. Case No. 71/2025, the petitioner, Budha Roy @ Budheswar Roy shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 7. The petitioner shall co-operate with the police Investigating Officer whenever he is called to that effect. With the aforesaid direction, the anticipatory bail application stands disposed of.
