Petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus to the opposite parties No.2 to 4 for ensuring her possession. She claims to have purchased part of Gata No.987 and also that her name has been mutated in the revenue records. She has represented to the District Magistrate, who has also passed some orders. We are of the opinion that appropriate course for petitioner would be to move an application under Section 116 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006, as may be permissible and if such proceeding is undertaken and concluded, the grievance of the petitioner can be redressed and she can be put in possession of her portion of the land, unless there is any legal impediment.
