W.P(MD)No.10372 of 2025 permitting the petitioner to perform the rituals and other formalities in the Sri Soola Karuppar, Sri Vallanattu Karuppa, Sri Pon Ayyanar and Sri Ulaganayagi Amman Kovil situated at Naduvikottai, Sivagangai District and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action against the respondents 5 to 8. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the private respondents excommunicated the petitioner and restricted the petitioner from participating in the temple festival, thereby, he sent the representation dated 13.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 3 would submit that already they have conducted peace committee meeting and as per the peace committee meeting, there is no any excommunication was done. The private respondents have no any objection with regard to the petitioner's participation in worship in the said temple, but the petitioner has not participated in the meeting. Therefore, the allegations made in the petition are not true.

W.P(MD)No.10372 of 2025 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that already peace committee meeting was conducted by the revenue authorities and as per the peace committee meeting, both the parties agreed to conduct the festival in a peaceful manner and the petitioner's representation was closed. Therefore, the respondent police are ready to provide police protection for worshiping. 5.The learned Counsel for the respondent No. 7 would submit that for the past twenty years, there is no any Manjuvirattu was conducted in the locality and the allegations levelled in the representation are false. Already peace committee meeting was conducted by the revenue authorities and as per the peace committee meeting, both the parties agreed to conduct the festival in a peaceful manner, but the petitioner has not participated in the meeting. However, they have not objected the petitioner to take part in the festival. Therefore, this petition is liable to be dismissed. 6.Heard both sides and perused the records. 4/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P(MD)No.10372 of 2025 7.The grievance of the petitioner is that the private respondents restrained him from performing rituals and other formalities of the temple festival, but the private respondents denied the allegations levelled in the petition and they have no any objection to take part in the festival by the petitioner. Already peace committee meeting was conducted by the revenue authorities and both the parties agreed to conduct the festival.
