Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for the private opposite party and perused the record. 2. This petition has been filed seeking following main relief(s):- "(i) Issue a Writ, order or directions in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 20.9.2003 passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Sultanpur (Respondent No.1) as contained in ANNEXURE NO. 11 to this Writ Petition. (ii) issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents not to interfere in the peaceful possessions of the petitioners over the land in dispute in any manner whatsoever meanwhile." 3. During pendency of this petition, the parties have entered into a compromise after settling their dispute outside the court amicably and considering the same, this Court on 25.04.2025 had passed the following order:- "Let the matter be placed before the Senior Registrar of this Court on 28.04.2025, for the purposes of the verification of the compromise entered between the parties, annexed alongwith supplementary affidavit dated 07.04.2025. The aforesaid order has been passed after taking note of the report of Senior Registrar dated 04.04.2025 and earlier order of this Court dated 01.04.2025. Let the matter be listed before this Court on 02.05.2025." 4. In compliance of the order of this Court dated 25.04.2025, the Senior Registrar of this Court has submitted a report dated 28.04.2025, which being on record, reads as under:- "Vide Hon'ble Court's order dated 25-04-2025, parties were directed to appear before the undersigned today for verification of compromise deed. The said compromise has been annexed in original with annexure no. SA- 1 to C. M. Application No.IA/10/2025. Today, petitioners namely (1) 1/1 Ranvir Singh S/o Late Bajrangi Singh, (2) 1/2 Lila wati W/o Late Bajrangi Singh, (3) 2/1 Ranvijay Singh S/o Late Ram Bali Singh and (4) 2/2 Smt. Abhilasha Devi W/o Late Ram Bali Singh alongwith their learned counsel Shri Ram Lagan Mishra, Advocate and opposite parties namely (1) 2/1 Anil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (2) 2/2 Sunil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (3) 2/3 Sushil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (4) 2/4 Sumitra Devi W/o Late Karuna Shanker and (5) 3 Bhanshi Dhar S/o Late Bhaskar Dutt alongwith their learned counsel Shri Anjani Kumar Dvivedi Advocate are present before me. Vakalatnama of counsels for both the parties is on record. The proof of identity i.c. Aadhar Card is produced by both the parties, at the time of verification. The contents of the said compromise deed have been read over and explained to both the parties to the compromise deed and they have stated that they have executed the same according to their free will and as a token there of they have affixed their photographs, put T.Is. and signatures, which are duly attested and verified by their respective counsels. In view of the said facts, the compromise between petitioners namely (1) 1/1 Ranvir Singh S/o Late Bajrangi Singh, (2) 1/2 Lila wati W/o Late Bajrangi Singh, (3) 2/1 Ranvijay Singh S/o Late Ram Bali Singh and (4) 2/2 Smt. Abhilasha Devi W/o Late Ram Bali Singh and opposite parties namely (1) 2/1 Anil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (2) 2/2 Sunil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (3) 2/3 Sushil Tiwari S/o Late Karuna Shanker, (4) 2/4 Sumitra Devi W/o Late Karuna Shanker and (5) 3 Bhanshi Dhar S/o Late Bhaskar Dutt is being verified by me today i.e. 28th day of April, 2025. The report is submitted before Hon'ble Court for orders." 5. In view of above, this petition is disposed of in terms of the compromise entered into between the parties, which shall form part of this order and the impugned order dated 20.9.2003 passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Sultanpur (Respondent No.1) as contained in ANNEXURE NO. 11 to the writ petition, is hereby set aside in terms of compromise.
