The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 2 to issue the arm license to the petitioner on the basis of inheritance/will/legal heir of the Late Mahant Kaushal Kishor Saran and to inherit/issue/release the N.P. Bore revolver no. B43319 and DBBL Gun No. 125345 in favour of the petitioner, in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the aforesaid prayer, it is directed that the concerned authority shall endeavour to decide the aforesaid pending matter with all expedition, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.
