Heard learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondent No. 1. 2. However, notices on behalf of the respondent Nos.2 to 5 have been accepted by Sri Shaker Lal, learned counsel. 3. By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to pay the amount of gratuity as mentioned in the representation dated 04.10.2023 as contained in Annexure No.3 to this writ petition with interest as per the Norms framed by the RBI. (ii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party No.2 to decide the pending representations as contained in Annexure Nos.3 & 4 to this writ petition." 4. The issue has already been considered and decided by this Court in Writ Petition No.29142 (SS) of 2021 vide order dated 13.12.2021. Thus, following the said judgment, which has been upheld in appeal, the present petition is disposed off directing the respondents to pay simple interest at the rate of 6% per annum from 30 days after the date of retirement till the date of actual payment. 5. The payment as directed above, shall be made within a period of two months.
