Pleader for R1 O R D E R The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the rejection order dated 27.03.2025, passed by the first respondent, and consequently, seeking a direction to the respondents to lay the 230 KVA HT tower line through the Government poramboke land, comprised in S.Nos. 104/2 and 103, situated in Eragudi South Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, instead of laying it on the petitioner’s land, comprised in S.Nos. 104/4B and 105 of the said village. 2. The petitioner seeks an order from this Court to forbear the respondents from erecting the High Tension towers or poles in the petition-mentioned land. However, it is well-settled that the petitioner may only claim compensation for any loss he may suffer and he cannot prevent the authorities from implementing projects that are essential for national development. 4. The learned Standing Counsel states that they are ready to pay appropriate compensation to the petitioner within a period of four weeks, provided the title documents are submitted. 5. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
