(Oral) By way of instant petition, very innocuous prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue direction to the respondents to consider and decide his pending representation (Annexure P-1), whereby he has prayed for his transfer from Government Senior Secondary School Guler, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh to Government Senior Secondary School, Lag Baliana, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, where post of Lecturer (History) is lying vacant. 2.. While putting in appearance on behalf of respondents, Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General, fairly states that representation of the petitioner, if not already decided, shall be considered and decided expeditiously. 3. Consequently, in view of above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-1) expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from today. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders taking note of Clause 5.4 of Transfer Policy, which enables an employee to seek transfer on account of unavoidable circumstances.
