SRINIVAS BASAVA The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short “Cr.P.C.”) to quash the proceedings in Crime No.68 of 2021 on the file of Gandepalli Police Station, East Godavari District registered for the offences punishable under Section 409, 419, 420, 471, 468, 477-A r/w 109, 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short “I.P.C.”). 2. The above crime has been registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent alleging misappropriation of funds of the District Cooperative Central Bank, Kakinada branch at Gandepalli and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society, Gandepalli by the employees of the bank and the members of the said Cooperative Society in collusion with each other. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the instructions dated 26.06.2023 received from Sub-Inspector of Police, Gandepalli Police Station, Kakinada District, wherein it is stated that as per the directions of the superior officers, the entire case file along with investigation is transferred to the Inspector of Police, E.O.W., CID, Rajahmundry on 02.12.2021 vide RC No.6792/C-1/CD- Files/2021 of D.G.P., A.P., Mangalagiri with proper acknowledgment. 4. In view of the same, since the case has been transferred to the CID, Rajamundry, and is pending investigation, the Inspector of Police, E.O.W., CID, Rajahmundry, is directed to complete the investigation in the present 3 case, as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (03) months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, this criminal petition is disposed of.
