The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.30 dated 19.02.2023 registered under Sections 363 & 366 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 (Section 376 of IPC was added later on) at Police Station Dharmkot, District Moga (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom in view of the compromise dated 14.12.2024 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has been acquitted in the trial. 3.
