After arguing at some length, Sri S.K. Bajpai, learned counsel for petitioner, submits that against the order dated 19.10.2020, the petitioner has already filed a statutory appeal before the competent authority and the same has not been decided till date. Accordingly, he confines his prayer to the extent that the appeal filed by the petitioner shall be decided by the competent authority. Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid request. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the appellate authority to decide the appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 19.10.2020 expeditiously, say, within a period of six weeks' from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, in case there is no legal impediment.
