GP FOR GENERAL ADMINISTRATION The Court made the following Order: The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in not providing police protection to the petitioners till the completion of the election for the post of President of the Mandal Praja Parishad, Tripuranthakam. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioners has been received and that the same has been forwarded for 2 taking necessary measures to provide security for the members to attend the Special Meeting on 27.03.2025. It was also directed by the State Election Commissioner to provide videography and CC cameras inside and outside the venue of the meeting to ensure that the elections are conducted in a free and fair manner. 3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
