Passah, learned counsel for the respondents today has submitted that the grant of family pension to the petitioner is already under process. To this the learned counsel has produced a communication dated 10th and 11th July, 2025, which shows that the Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner has been forwarded to the Pay and Accounts Officer for arranging and for release of the payment. She however prays that the respondents be allowed 2(two) months’ time to complete the entire process. 2. Ms. R. Kharshiing, learned counsel for the petitioner though not disputing the fact that the pension is being processed and awaiting the final payment orders, however, objects to the time prayed for by the learned counsel for the respondents, and submits that perhaps only 4(four) weeks’ time should be granted. 3. In consideration thereof of the prayer made by the respective parties, 6(six) weeks’ time is granted to the respondents to complete the entire process from the date of this order for release of family pension to the petitioner. 4.
