Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:19752 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 3753 of 2025 Petitioner :- Shailendra Kumar Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Deptt. Medical Anubhag 8 Lko. And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Ramesh Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2. The petitioner has approached this Court for quashing of the punishment order dated 14.6.2022 passed by the State Government (Annexure-1). Learned Standing counsel has raised objection and submits that writ petition is not maintainable as the petitioner has statutory alternative remedy to approach the State Public Services Tribunal for redressal of his grievance. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the review application filed by him before the State Government is pending, which is on record as Annexure-11, however, inadvertently instead of review it has been worded as appeal. He further submits that he confines his prayer to the extent that his pending review dated 9.9.2022, contained in Annexure-11 to the writ petition, may be directed to be decided, to which learned Standing counsel has no objection. In view of the above, the prayer made in this petition is refused, however, the respondents are directed to take a decision on the pending review application of the petitioner, if any expeditiously. The petition is accordingly disposed of. Order Date :- 8.4.2025 Madhu D.R/P.S Digitally signed by :- MADHU KUMARI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
