Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioners through this petition have prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari, to quash the impugned advertisement dated 18-12-2024, issued by opp. Party no. 4, as contained in Annexure no.1. as much as it relates to more contradiction & irregularities are committed by the opp. parties, in the selection of Anganwadi workers, as per Govt. order dated 21- 03-2023, to this writ petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding / directing the opp. parties, to select and appoint to the petitioners on their vacant post of Anganwadi workers. (iii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opp. parties restraining them not to carry on recruitment process without deciding the representations of petitioners, on the vacant post of Anganwadi worker and also issued a direction to the opp. parties to decide the representation (Ann. no.6) of the petitioners, with in some stipulated time, which is fixed by this Hon, ble court, in the interest of justice. (iv) Issue any other order / direction which this Hon,ble court may deem just and proper in the circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioners. (v) Allow the writ petition with cost." 3. Learned Standing counsel on the basis of written instructions has submitted that the petitioners will be called again for verification of the records and selection proceedings will be conducted as per rules if they meet the conditions prescribed in the Government Order dated 21.3.2023. 4. Perused the record as well as the instructions provided by learned Standing counsel, which is taken on record. Considering the above, the petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.4, District Program Officer, District Bahraich to proceed as per the undertaking (quoted above) given by him.
