The 3rd respondent herein is the mother of the petitioner. She filed a petition before the 2nd respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act against the petitioner and his brother, namely Thirumalai. In that petition, she sought relief against the petitioner to hand over the 5 sovereign gold ornaments and the sale deed in respect of 50 cents, which is in his father's name. The petitioner would submit that the sale deed is not in his possession. Heard the learned counsel on either side. 4. Today, the 1 ½ sovereign of gold as directed by this Court vide order dated 11.09.2025 has been handed over to the mother, 3rd respondent herein. The impugned order has been complied with insofar as the 2nd respondent is concerned. It is open to the 3rd respondent herein to proceed against the 1st respondent in the impugned order, namely Thirumoolam. 5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
