P NARAHARI BABU The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.61 of 2021, on the file of Krishnalanka Police Station, Vijayawada. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 30.04.2021, this Court has passed the following order: “In these circumstances, the investigation may go on. However, in view of the fact that there is no prima-facie case, as of now, against the petitioner. The investigation may go on without summoning the petitioner or taking any coercive steps against the petitioner up to 30.06.2021.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of instructions of the Inspector of Police, Krishna Lanka Police Station, Vijayawada wherein it is stated that the Police, after due investigation, on 01.02.2022 have filed a charge sheet vide CF.No.157 of 2022 on the file of SCST-cum-ACB Court, Vijayawada and that SC number is awaited. 4. In view of the fact that the Police have completed the investigation in the case on hand and have filed a charge sheet vide CF.No.157 of 2022 on the file of SCST-cum-ACB Court, Vijayawada and as the SC is yet to be numbered, this Court, instead of keeping the present petition pending, feels it appropriate to dispose of the same by directing the Police to see that the SC is numbered as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps as against the petitioner herein. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
