Heard Sri Ramashankar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondent no.2-Additional District Magistrate (Finance)/Land Acquisition Officer, District-Jaunpur to decide the application of the petitioner dated 07.03.2024, conduct physical inspection, and submit report of inspection before this Court. The representation is for payment of compensation for additional land allegedly utilized by the respondents while executing a project relating to widening of a public road. 3. The respondents have submitted written instructions, according to which, a team was constituted to ascertain the correctness of the claim of the petitioner, and therein it transpired that no additional area has been utilized. 4. Counsel for the petitioner submits that survey report is not correct, and in the earlier round, the respondents themselves proposed to award compensation for additional area. 5. Since the recent survey report is against the petitioner, therefore, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to apply for demarcation of the remaining area, if so advised.
