This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to quash the entire proceedings in S.T. No. 1735/2023, Crime No. 0538/2021, under Sections 376(D), 323, 506 IPC, P.S. Para, District Lucknow pending in the court of Additional Session Judge / Special Judge POCSO Act, Court No. 02, Lucknow. The application has been filed on the basis of a compromise filed by the parties which has been verified by the trial court. The offence is not compoundable. Further, it is also apparent from the statement of the prosecutrix recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. that the applicants indulged in the offence imputed to them by black-mailing the opposite party. Considering the gravity of the allegations made and the fact that the offence registered against the applicants is not compoundable, the application is dismissed.
