This Court, vide order dated 11.01.2024, passed in MCRC No. 8952 of 2023, while rejecting the bail to the applicants, namely Parvinder Singh and Parmanand Jaiswa, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 11.01.2024 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh, District-Raigarh (C.G) vide his request letter dated 27.02.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the statements of a total of 03 prosecution witnesses have been examined and 15 prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined. Considering the number of witnesses, the trial is likely to take some more time therefore, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
