Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and
learned counsel representing the respondents.

By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prays to accept his joining pursuant to the order of appointment bearing Memo No.1011 dated 16.05.2023.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was selected as an Assistant Teacher in the High School, Birsa Memorial, Sarjamda, Jamshedpur.

The petitioner has joined in the month of December, but he had to take leave immediately as his father fell seriously ill. He later on approached the Authorities but the Authorities are not accepting the joining.

During the course of argument, learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that suffice it would be, if a direction is given to the District Education Officer, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur, to decide on the joining of the petitioner.

Learned counsel representing the respondent – State submits that if the petitioner files a representation, his case will be considered as per law and an appropriate order will be passed.

Considering the aforesaid submission, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with the relevant documents before the District Education Officer, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur, within a period of four weeks.

If such representation is filed, the concerned respondents will consider the case of the petitioner and will decide the same within a period of six weeks.

If the petitioner is found entitled for the aforesaid claim, the same be extended to him within four weeks thereafter.
10. If the claim / representation is rejected, a reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner.
11. The entire process must be concluded within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with the representation of the petitioner.
12. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition stands
disposed of.
