Gogoi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 2, submits that after verification, the respondent has paid an amount of Rs.81,955/- to the petitioner which is the admitted amount on the basis of the Report dated 09.07.2024 submitted by the Divisional Forest Officer, Hailakandi Division, Hailakandi and addressed to the Chief Conservator of Forest, Southern Assam Circle, Silchar. Mr. N.H. Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for liberty to the petitioner for challenging the Report dated 09.07.2024 as well as to approach the appropriate Forum, if so advised.
